Learning How & When To Take Time Off

Do you have a hard time getting your bigger goals accomplished in your business?

Learning How & When To Take Time Off

Are you the type of person who works while on vacation? Or perhaps the idea of taking a vacation is a far and distant dream?

I know for a lot of people ( I use to be one of them) this is a huge reality. The idea of taking a vacation or any time off means ‘I’m actually I’m still working…. just remotely’. The problem with this is that you don’t get to truly unplug and enjoy yourself. You should fear burnout more than you fear taking some much deserved time off.

We often tell ourselves the story of how if we were to take time off the world would end. We will somehow lose clients, undo all our hard work and our business will go under. This is a funny story because I have NEVER heard of someone going away on a much needed vacation and having their whole business crumple to the ground. I have however heard HUNDREDS of stories of entrepreneurs burning out, having a breakdown and having that be the end of their business.

Don’t set yourself up for failure by never allowing yourself to unplug and recharge. You didn’t start a business to work your life away.

Learn How & When To Take Time Off using the 3 tips I give in this video. Unplugging and recharging is by far the best thing you can do for yourself, your family and your business. I’m speaking from experience here as I just got back from a 2 week vacation and guess what…… my business didn’t fall apart.

To really drive home this point some more, I thought I’d add in a few photos from my vacation in hopes of inspiring you to take your own!

Here is my partner Amy and I at a concert (I’m laughing at her because it took her 5 minutes to figure out how to take this selfie)

Now that I’ve inspired you to take a well deserved break, I’d love to know what are you going to do on your next vacation?
