When I first launched my coaching business, I was a hamster on the never-ending hamster wheel.
Feeling like I was constantly on the verge of exhaustion, but not actually getting anywhere meaningful.
I was working hard, but I wasn’t working smart. I was trying to build my business using strategies that didn’t make sense for me, that didn’t align with my values or who I was, and that weren’t a fit for my skillset.
I believed that if I worked hard, pushed myself, mastered my mindset, and grinded it out, that I would finally achieve what I desired.
I began to doubt myself (a lot!) and thought that maybe I didn’t have it in me to live the dream life I pictured for myself... that maybe I wasn’t cut out for a life and business of impact, joy, and being my full self.
What I realized was that hustling for my self-worth through business accomplishments only pushed me further from the things that truly matter to me: my values, my relationships, my desire to enjoy my life, and the impact I want to bring to this world.
So I started looking for communities and support systems that embraced the core of who I was instead of programs that tried to change me to fit into a rigid success plan.
I invested over $100,000 in coaching, masterminds, and trainings over the years.
Immersing myself into authentic communities, not curated programs that promised one way of doing life and business.
Finding groups where I could ask questions and have my needs and desires voiced in a safe space.
Filling my life with peers who were on the same growth journey as me, without feeling like there was something wrong with me or that we had to compete with one another. Finding people with whom I could create a better, more equalible world through having real conversations.
I created The Lighthouse Collective as an extension of the most impactful transition period in my life and business.
This is not another business mastermind focused on “achieving more”. It’s a group focused on allowing you to remember who you and the power that that entails.
You are here to grow your business and yourself in a way that is aligned with who you are and the impact you want to have in the world. So you can do things like scale your business, take on your next creative project, feel more fulfilled in your work, create more wealth, figure out what your next steps are, all in a way that makes sense for you, your goals, your lifestyle, and your vision for the future.
I came into The Lighthouse Collective burnt out in my small business pursuits. I was searching for help to move my entrepreneur dreams forward but also support for myself. And I found it.
Though I have only been with the Collective for a few months, it's long enough to know that in a time where a lot of businesses feel inauthentic, The Lighthouse Collective is a warm and real space.
There is guidance on running and growing a business, and brainstorming with the others in the group on any business roadblocks we may be facing, while also having space to discuss anything else you feel comfortable sharing. It's this fantastic melding of all sides of life in a space that Lana and the other people in this group have made feel so welcoming and safe. It's a group that is great at teaching you and lifting you up not just as a business owner but also as a person. I always walk away feeling like I am a little lighter and that I have learned something.

As a general guide, here is what you can expect:
We will spend as much or as little time together as you wish. This is truly a choose your own adventure space, one where you choose how much and how often you need to fill up your cup.
We have two rules at The Lighthouse Collective (beyond respect, of course) and those rules are…..
1. Never apologize or feel the need to explain yourself for missing something, hopping on a call late, having to leave early, or getting distracted because your kid came over and asked a question. This community is here to support you, not be another thing you feel you are responsible for.
2. The second rule is that aside from that, there are no rules. This is a space where everyone is encouraged to show up as they are, when they want to, how they want to, and ask for whatever it is they need.
The idea isn’t to do all of these things every week (although you are more than welcome to!). It’s about showing up for what you need and want. There is ZERO expectation around how often you show up. Some weeks we need to be in the zone and focus on our work, other weeks we might need more connection, discussion, and learning. There is no right or wrong way to be, only what's right for you (and let's face it - that can change week by week).
→ Collective Masterminds. The first Tuesday of every month is a peer coaching call where we collectively support each other by asking for help, giving support, collaborating, and holding space for ourselves and others. Consider this a time to get hands on, tangible coaching, guidance, and strategy that is specific to you.
→ Collective Gatherings. The remaining Tuesdays of every month are interactive topic-focused trainings. We explore topics along three key themes: Wealth Creation, Power & Privilege, and Personal & Spiritual Integration. Consider this a weekly grounding space for your business and how it integrates with your personal growth, spirituality, and the wholeness of who you are. You will learn practical tools and strategies, along with clarity on how you show up in your life and business in these areas.
→ Bravery Hour. Think of this as an online co-working space where we come together for every Thursday over Zoom with no video and we are muted. It’s a dedicated time in the week to get support in creating something that you’ve been putting off. We simply check in with each other letting everyone know what project we are working on, giving encouragement to one another, and then we get to work. This is great if you love or need accountability in getting your bigger, scarier projects done..
→ Wednesday Drop-In. We have a pop-in call every Wednesday as a chance to check-in with the group over a virtual coffee or tea for those who may be needing a mid-week boost of nourishment for their mind, business, and projects.
→ Weekly Journaling. We share reflection prompts and discussion topics in the online community to continue the conversation that we are being called to have. The topics range from helping us discover and create our next project or offer, to better understanding who we are and how we want to show up in the world.
→ Resources. You will have access to Lana’s recommended resources to dive deeper into the lessons and topics that you feel drawn to and want to learn more about. This includes things such as planners, goal setting worksheets, discovering aligned work workbook, my Business Builder Course and more
→ Online Community. You will have access to a private online community space where you can ask questions, get feedback, engage, interact, be supported, and support others. It’s a space to have the conversations that you truly desire, but which feel too vulnerable or out of place in other parts of your life or business.
→ Public Events + Workshops. As a member, you will get free access to many of my public paid online events + workshops (that are hosted by me), such as Building Your 2021 Business Strategy Workshop + Selling Services $1000+ With Ease and Confidence.
→ In-person Events. Pending how our current reality unfolds, we will have live in-person events. In the short term these will be located around Canada, but in the future will also be international.

The Lighthouse Collective is a unique experience that is exactly what I was looking for!
I was looking for a place that I could be accountable while not feeling managed, learn valuable skills in areas I felt stuck, and a place to process the lessons I was learning. All while feeling part of a community of people.
The Lighthouse Collective is just that. It’s a structure that allows for creativity – the duality of set meetings where there are no “rules.” It allows for learning and processing of the lesson in real time. We learn from Lana and learn from each other when we each process aloud, which allows me to relate to others, feel understood, and like I’m not alone in what I (we’re) experiencing.
Each of us has different intentions as to how to best utilize the group for our own needs. Mine is accountability. While no one asks me about my projects or manages my progress, I come with the dedicated intention of being accountable. It allows me to not feel managed (which makes me feel yucky) but also feel like what I’m doing matters.
I’ve achieved things I had struggled with for over a year. Once I had the space and tools I needed, I was able to create “the thing” in 10 minutes! Plus, that content was a hit with my ideal audience, generating many positive responses!

The topics we touch on are often extremely relevant to me at the moment, whether it's creativity or creating a business that suits and aligns with my values and how I want to build my life. Gleaning from others is invaluable as it shows me in real time, that as small business owners there are so many different ways to approach our businesses. There are so many great ideas that I never would have come up with on my own. Being part of this community reminds me that I'm not alone, cause as a solopreneur, it can be a very lonely and isolating journey.
